Lasker Foundation
The Lasker Foundation celebrates the contributions of scientists, clinicians, and public servants who have made major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of human disease. Their programs educate the public and promote scientific collaboration, and advocate for a healthier world through medical research.
In 2006, Counterpoint Media was hired by the Lasker Foundation to redo their website. Counterpoint Media was tasked to restructure 1,000+ pages, so that 60 years of winners could easily be found through a site search engine via name, award type, and year awarded. Additional requisites for the reconstruction included articulating the Foundation’s mission and objectives with clarity, as well as showcasing its various advocacy initiatives and efforts in fostering the education and development of aspiring scientists.
